The Portfolio Management Plan describes how the portfolio will be managed operationally but does not define the strategic vision or direction of the portfolio.

The Communication Management Plan governs how information is distributed among stakeholders and has no role in defining or documenting portfolio strategy.

The Portfolio Roadmap depicts the timeline and sequencing of components; it is derived from the Strategic Plan and updated after the Strategic Plan is revised, not before.
