While self-organization is an agile principle, simply allowing the team to self-organize without initial guidance or discussion on the product owner's specific, valid recommendation for an RCA might lead to a less focused or effective approach to problem-solving.

Discussing the recommendation only with the test manager and requesting better quality control is insufficient; it bypasses the broader project team's expertise and responsibility for quality and fails to address the root cause as suggested.

While facilitating open discussion is good, simply letting anyone share ideas without a structured approach like discussing the proposed RCA may not lead to an effective resolution for complex quality issues preventing delivery.
