Why would a customer implement an on-premises solution instead of a cloud solution?

Cloud solutions generally offer significantly shorter deployment times because resources can be provisioned on-demand without the need for physical hardware procurement and installation.

Cloud solutions are inherently designed for greater scalability, allowing resources to be elastically scaled up or down based on demand, which is typically much more challenging and costly to achieve on-premises.
