Which statement is true for the Path Selection Plug-In VMW_PSP_MRU?

VMW_PSP_MRU is the default for active-passive arrays only; active-active arrays typically default to VMW_PSP_FIXED or VMW_PSP_RR depending on the array vendor.

MRU will switch to a different path if the currently selected path becomes unavailable or fails, so it does not unconditionally remain on a path regardless of state changes.

VMW_PSP_MRU is not applicable or recommended for vSAN because vSAN uses its own internal I/O stack and does not use traditional PSP plug-ins for path selection.

MRU does not designate any path as preferred. It simply selects whichever path was used most recently and continues using it until that path fails, at which point it switches to another available path and stays on it. The preferred path concept belongs exclusively to the Fixed PSP.
