On Cisco SX-series endpoints, the brightness control defaults to Auto mode, meaning the endpoint automatically manages brightness and ignores any configured level value. To apply a specific brightness level via xConfiguration, you must first run xConfiguration Cameras Camera 1 Brightness Mode: Manual to enable manual control before the Level setting takes effect.
