Restarting the Stream service manages vDisk streaming delivery to target devices but does not resolve a STOP error caused by incompatible storage controller drivers introduced during a XenServer tools update.

Downgrading XenServer tools is not a supported resolution and would not fix the underlying driver compatibility state that causes the 0x0000007B error on the existing vDisk.

Changing the write cache location to server-side cache affects where writes are stored during streaming but does not address the storage controller driver conflict that triggers the STOP 0x0000007B error.
