An administrator completed a successful AOS upgrade, but saw the following alert the following day:

Explanation

Each AOS version is bundled and validated with a specific compatible AHV version. When AOS is upgraded, the AHV hypervisor on the nodes must also be upgraded to the version that shipped with that AOS release. If the AHV upgrade did not complete (or was not performed) as part of the AOS upgrade process, Nutanix will detect a mismatch and raise the 'Detected incompatible AHV version' alert. This is not an AOS-AHV fundamental incompatibility (A), a manual pre-upgrade issue (B), or an NCC version issue (D) - it is simply that AHV still needs to be brought up to the version paired with the new AOS.
