Network RAID 10 mirrors all data between nodes, so at least two nodes are required for the topology to function at all. An HP StoreVirtual 4330FC node in a standard drive configuration provides enough raw capacity that two nodes combined, after the 50% effective capacity penalty of Network RAID 10, comfortably yields the required 7.2 TB of usable space. Two nodes therefore satisfies both the minimum node count for the RAID level and the stated capacity target.

Four nodes exceeds the minimum required - two nodes already satisfy both the Network RAID 10 topology requirement and the 7.2 TB usable capacity target.

Six nodes provides far more capacity than required and is not the minimum configuration that meets the stated usable space requirement.

Eight nodes is excessive for this capacity requirement and would yield significantly more usable space than the 7.2 TB target.
