The answer is B, in Monitor. The TCP Streaming Tool is a diagnostic utility that lives inside the Monitor component, which makes sense when you think about it because Monitor is specifically designed for real-time observation and troubleshooting of call and data flows. I actually guessed Manager the first time I saw this question and got it wrong, so do not make the same mistake I did. Manager handles configuration and administration tasks, not streaming diagnostics, so it would be the wrong place to look even though it feels like the obvious answer. Once you remember that Monitor is your go-to for live traffic inspection tools, this one becomes pretty easy to lock in.

Good call flagging the Manager trap, and worth adding that the exam will test that same Monitor-versus-Manager split in at least two or three other question formats, so if you burn in "Monitor equals live traffic inspection" as a rule now, you will knock out a whole category of questions at once.

B is correct, the TCP Streaming Tool lives in Monitor. The tricky one here is C, Manager, because if you spend most of your time in Manager doing config work you start assuming everything diagnostic is in there too, but that is not how Avaya splits the tools. SSA (option A) is going to feel familiar if you have done any alarming work, so people get pulled toward it, but SSA is not where you go for TCP streaming. Monitor is specifically where Avaya puts the real-time and streaming diagnostic tools, and if you remember that distinction between configuration (Manager) and observation/capture (Monitor) you will not second-guess this one on exam day.

The TCP Streaming Tool lives in Monitor, so B is your answer, but I want to flag why C trips people up on this one. Manager is where you do your configuration work, VDNs, vectors, skill assignments, all that setup, so it feels natural to assume diagnostic tools would be nearby, but they are not. Avaya put the TCP Streaming Tool in Monitor because that is the runtime observation layer, same place you are watching agent states and call activity in real time, which makes sense when you think about what TCP streaming actually does for you. If you are ever in a CMS reporting session and something looks off in your skill routing numbers, TCP Streaming in Monitor is your first stop to verify the signaling is behaving the way your vector steps expect.

Been through this section twice this week cramming for a recert deadline, and everything in the 7893X material points to C, in Manager. The TCP Streaming Tool sits inside Manager because that is where your core diagnostic and streaming utilities live, not in Monitor which is more passive observation and not in SSA which handles different admin functions entirely.

Hey Lena, totally get the confusion especially under recert pressure, but the TCP Streaming Tool is actually B, in Monitor, because that is where the real-time stream capture and analysis utilities are housed, with Manager focused more on configuration and administration tasks rather than live diagnostic streaming.
