Why each option
vSphere Replication supports a minimum RPO of 5 minutes; values below that are not configurable.
A 1-minute RPO is below the supported minimum threshold; vSphere Replication does not offer sub-5-minute replication intervals.
vSphere Replication allows RPO settings ranging from 5 minutes to 24 hours. The 5-minute minimum is enforced by the replication engine to balance network bandwidth consumption and storage I/O against data protection frequency. Attempting to configure an RPO lower than 5 minutes is not permitted in the vSphere Replication interface.
10 minutes is a valid RPO value within the supported range, but it is not the lowest value available.
15 minutes is also a valid RPO setting, but it is higher than the minimum of 5 minutes.
