This one is a quick win, bank the answer in under 30 seconds and move on. The correct answer is A, install Citrix Receiver 3.0 or higher. Dynamic Windows Preview relies on the Aero glass rendering pipeline that Receiver 3.0 introduced, so without that client version on the endpoint the feature simply will not render regardless of your network conditions or session pre-launch settings. B is a distractor aimed at people who confuse latency requirements with client capability requirements, C has nothing to do with visual rendering, and D is wrong because Mac endpoints do not support the Aero-style preview even with the correct Receiver version, so restricting to Windows only would actually be closer to correct but that is not what the option says. Flag this question type as done and do not revisit it, you will not find a better answer under time pressure.

Dynamic Windows Preview in XenApp 6.5 is a client-side rendering feature, so the endpoint software is what gates the capability, not the network path or the OS policy on the server. The receiver has to support the HDX RichGraphics stack that handles the Aero composition pass-through, and that support landed with Receiver 3.0. A is the right call here. Options B and D are distractors because latency thresholds affect responsiveness but do not toggle the feature on or off, and Mac clients running Receiver 3.0 also get this capability, so restricting to Windows only is unnecessary. Pre-launch (C) warms up a session faster but has nothing to do with whether the Aero preview renders at all.

Saw this exact trap on my exam, "not visible under all circumstances" points straight to the client version. A.

Thought B made sense but the Citrix eDocs client requirements table settles it, A.

I kept second-guessing myself on D because the Aero glass stuff feels so tied to the endpoint OS, but the requirement is actually on the Receiver version, not the platform, since Dynamic Windows Preview in XenApp 6.5 needs Citrix Receiver 3.0 or later to render that preview functionality on the taskbar. Once I went back and checked the XenApp 6.5 feature requirements it was clear the client software version is the gating factor, not the device OS.
