Check Point APIs allow system engineers and developers to make changes to their organization's security policy with CLI tools and Web Services for all of the following except:

Check Point APIs are designed to interact with the Check Point security policy and management layer - they do not provide functionality to create new dashboards for managing third-party tasks unrelated to the Check Point platform. Dashboard creation for arbitrary third-party management is outside the API's intended scope.

Check Point APIs explicitly support creating products that integrate with and enhance third-party solutions through web services and CLI tooling.

Executing automated scripts to perform common security management tasks is a primary and documented use case for Check Point APIs.

Building products that use and enhance the Check Point solution is a core intended purpose of the Check Point Management API.
