Where do we need to reset the SIC on a gateway object?

SIC is the trusted certificate-based channel between the Security Management Server and managed gateways. When SIC needs to be re-established - for example after a gateway re-image - the administrator edits the Gateway Object in SmartDashboard, goes to General Properties, and clicks the Communication button to reset and re-initialize the SIC certificate. This is the correct object type and the correct navigation path.

SmartUpdate is a tool for managing software packages and licenses, not for SIC operations, and SIC is managed on the Gateway object, not the Security Management Server object.

SmartUpdate does not contain SIC reset functionality; SIC is managed through the gateway object properties in SmartDashboard.

SIC is reset on the Gateway object, not the Security Management Server object; editing the Management Server object would not affect a remote gateway's SIC status.
