When sizing a WebAccelerator deployment, you should base the WA capacity on the LTMcapacity.

LTM capacity measures Layer 4 connection and throughput performance, which does not account for the web content caching, compression, and HTTP optimization resources that WA requires independently.

WA sizing is determined by factors such as the number of cacheable objects, cache hit ratio, compression ratios, and HTTP request rates specific to the web application workload. LTM capacity reflects Layer 4 connection handling, which does not directly correlate to WA's Layer 7 content acceleration demands. Basing WA sizing on LTM capacity would result in an improperly scaled deployment.
