Question
During a storage failover you run the storage failover show-takeover command and it displays the messages "relocating its SFO aggregate" and "CFO aggregates not attempted". How would you relocate the CFO aggregate?
Options
- AWait for the failed controller to come online and takeoverthe aggregate.
- BWait for the CFO aggregate to show "done" once the SFO is complete.
- CPut the CFO aggregate online to force the data aggregate to come online.
- DForce giveback of the failed controller to force that data aggregate to come online.

Why each option
During storage failover, ONTAP relocates SFO aggregates first and then handles the CFO aggregate automatically; no manual action is needed.
Waiting for the failed controller to come back online describes a giveback scenario, not the automatic aggregate relocation that occurs during an active takeover.
In ONTAP storage failover, SFO (non-root) aggregates are relocated first, and the message 'CFO aggregates not attempted' is expected and normal during this phase. Once SFO relocation completes, ONTAP automatically processes the CFO aggregate (which contains the root volume) and it will transition to a 'done' state without any operator intervention required.
There is no manual command to independently bring a CFO aggregate online during storage failover; this phase is managed entirely by the ONTAP failover subsystem.
Forcing giveback prematurely would interrupt the ongoing SFO relocation process and risk data unavailability rather than resolving the CFO aggregate relocation.
