A company created three 10 TB Thin LUNs in a 30 TB storage resource for the online transaction system, mail system, and backup system. Since the company was just starting out, the online transaction system and mail system had very little data. The backup system needed to import about 20 TB of old data, which exceeded the Thin LUN size, resulting in write failure.
