Type 7 LSA is a new LSA type added to support NSSA areas, used to describe the external routing information introduced. It is generated by the Autonomous Region Border Router (ASBR) in the NSSA area, and its diffusion range is similar to that of Type 5 LSA. In addition to the common area and Stub area, Type 7 LSA will be diffused to all NSSA areas in the OSPF network.
