Which of the following is a file on a computer that links to another program or file somewhere else on the same computer?

A shortcut is a specialized file (often with a .lnk extension in Windows) that contains a pointer to the actual location of another file, folder, or application, allowing for quick access without moving the original item.

A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is an address that points to a resource on the internet or a local network, typically a webpage, not a local file or program directly.

An attachment is a file that is appended to an email or message, rather than a link to another file on the computer.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a network protocol used for transferring files between computers, not a type of file that links to another program.
