A customer had configured their EMC NetWorker environment to use Data Domain Boost, CIFS, and NFS protocols to back up their local environment. After analyzing the performance of each protocol, the decision was made to only use the DD Boost protocol. The customer reconfigured the NetWorker clients to backup to the already configured Data Domain devices and disabled CIFS and NFS on the Data Domain.
