A customer has configured a disaster recovery site for their VMware virtual servers. All of the ESXi servers are dedicated to recovery operations per company directive. The customer performs DR testing at 6 month intervals. During the latest test, a support ticket was logged for a virtual machine that crashed and went offline. The VM user was running tests against a copy of the production web server during the time of the disaster recovery operation. The VM involved was not part of the set of VMs recovered during the test.
