The primary Oracle database for the business applications group has implemented a new backup scheme. Snaps of production volumes are used as the source for SRDF/A replication to a remote site over a slow link. Performance of the database has been impacted at certain times. Examination of STP data indicates the write latency for certain volumes increases significantly during batch operations that run six times a day. What could be causing this issue?
