Which method should you use to activate data tracking?

The Track button on the report toolbar is the designated control for enabling data tracking in Web Intelligence. Once activated, the feature highlights values that have changed, been added, or been removed between document refresh cycles using color-coded formatting.

The Query panel does not contain a 'Keep History' option tied to data tracking; this choice confuses data tracking with query result caching concepts.

InfoView Preferences controls display and locale settings for the portal, not report-level features such as data tracking.
