Which object types can you merge when using Multi Queries in a Web Intelligence document (WID)?

Detail objects are dependent on a specific dimension and cannot be independently merged with a Dimension object across queries.

Measure objects represent aggregated numeric values and cannot be used as merge keys because they do not serve as common qualifiers between data providers.

Mixing a Dimension and a Measure for a merge is not supported because they represent fundamentally different data roles - one qualifies, the other quantifies.

When merging queries in a Web Intelligence document, the merge operation requires that both objects share the same data type and object classification. Only Dimension objects can be merged with other Dimension objects because they represent the same kind of structural data used to synchronize result sets across queries. Merging incompatible object types such as measures or details would produce undefined or meaningless aggregated results.
