Document Palette manages the color palette available for chart and table formatting, but it does not directly configure per-state colors for tracked data changes.

Data Tracking Options controls how tracked data changes are visualized, including assigning specific colors to each change state (increased values, decreased values, new data, deleted data). When a document shows all data in a single color like black, this dialog is where you assign distinct colors to differentiate data states and enable meaningful visual tracking.
