That tile is where you define the core identity of the deployment, and the wizard will not surface any other tiles until System is filled in, because everything else, Users, licenses, features, all of it, hangs off that foundational system configuration. Back in the old Avaya Aura days we called it "getting the system envelope right first," and the 78200X exam still tests that same logic.
Carlos M.Jan 15, 2026Solid point, and I'd add that the exam doesn't just test that System comes first, it tests that you know the IP Office wizard gates on it deliberately because the system identity drives license allocation downstream, so expect scenario questions where they describe a missing feature tile and the right answer is to go back and complete System first.
Carlos M.Dec 30, 2025D, System has to be filled in first or the other tiles stay grayed out, which I learned the hard way on my actual exam when I second-guessed myself and burned two minutes staring at a blank wizard before it clicked. Glad I remembered it because that question showed up almost word for word.
Zsofia N.Jan 1, 2026Yep, and the reason those tiles stay grayed is that the System account settings seed the domain and server address fields downstream, so Workplace (or Equinox if you are still on the old name in your study materials) literally cannot validate anything else until that anchor record exists, which is exactly the dependency chain the exam objective on initial client provisioning is testing.
Wesley A.Jan 5, 2026First time through I clicked C, Ignite, because I figured that was the initialization step and everything else would branch off it, which felt logical and cost me that point. What clicked on my second attempt was remembering that System is the foundation tile, it holds the core identity of the installation, and the wizard literally will not render the other tiles until System is confirmed, so D is the only answer that makes sense once you have hands-on time with the wizard flow.

Every other tile depends on that user context being in place first, so if you skip it you are just staring at a locked screen burning precious exam minutes.
