The Columns feature in Microsoft Word 2010 is used to split text into columns in a document. A user can split text in a document in one, two, left, or right columns. Take the following steps to use the columns feature in Microsoft Word 2010:
- Open the document on which you want to use the Columns feature. Click the Page Layout tab.
- Click the Columns button in the Page Setup group.
- The Columns drop-down list opens. Select an option to be applied.
- If the More Columns option is selected, the Columns dialog box opens. Specify the desired option and click the OK button.
