Transforms within route groups are primarily for modifying calling or called numbers, not for enabling a single route pattern to dynamically select different local gateways based on the originating location.

Standard local route groups (SLRGs) in Cisco UCM enable the use of a single, global route pattern that intelligently directs calls to the appropriate local gateway based on the calling device's associated local route group. This architecture allows the administrator to reuse the same route pattern across different locations, simplifying dial plan management.

Adding a Calling Search Space (CSS) to each local gateway determines which partitions the gateway can access, but it does not facilitate the use of a single route pattern for localized routing across multiple gateways.
