How are custom application ports monitored in Cisco SD-WAN controllers?

vSmart functions as the policy engine and does not provide the user interface for customers to configure custom application ports directly for monitoring purposes.

Custom application port definitions are typically managed by the customer for their specific applications, not by Cisco, although Cisco provides standard application signatures.

Customers define custom application ports using the vManage controller's interface. Once configured in vManage, this information is distributed to the WAN Edge devices for traffic identification, and vAnalytics then uses these definitions to monitor and provide insights into the custom application's performance.

Cisco does not manage custom application ports for individual customers, and vSmart is not the platform for configuring these settings.
