Cisco DX Series endpoints run on which operating system?

TC software is Cisco's proprietary endpoint OS used on older TelePresence hardware such as the EX, MX, and SX Series devices, not on the DX Series.

Cisco DX Series endpoints use Android as their underlying OS, which enables the devices to run the Google Play Store ecosystem and Android applications natively in addition to Cisco Jabber. This design distinguishes DX endpoints from traditional video endpoints that run proprietary Cisco firmware such as TC or CE software.

CE (Collaboration Endpoint) software is the successor to TC and runs on Cisco Room Series and select SX/MX endpoints, but it is not the operating system used by the DX Series.

Windows is not the operating system for Cisco DX Series endpoints; these devices ship with Android, not a Microsoft desktop operating system.
