The public cloud piece (B) is what a lot of people miss going in, so worth stressing that vRealize Business pulls in AWS and Azure cost data without you needing to deploy anything extra on the cloud side.

Look, I keep coming back to A and B on this one. A says it provides costing for non-vSphere workloads by directly integrating with them, and that lines up with what vRealize Business is actually trying to do, which is give you a unified cost picture across your whole environment, not just the VMware-native stuff. If it only worked with vSphere you would just call it a vSphere tool, the whole point of the "for Cloud" branding is that it reaches beyond that. B is pretty clearly true because public cloud costing and consumption analysis is bread and butter for this product, nobody argues that one. E trips people up because it sounds right but "automatic" is doing a lot of work in that sentence and I do not think the metering is as hands-off as E implies. C is wrong because vRealize Business does not deploy agents into workloads, that is not how it collects data. Viktor, the gotcha on A is that vRealize Business does not directly integrate with non-vSphere workloads to pull costing, it works through the vCenter layer, so that framing is off. On E, the metering for vSphere workloads really is automatic once you connect it to vCenter, that is actually one of the core selling points the exam leans on.

Okay so I keep coming back to C and I am pretty confident about it, here is my thinking. vRealize Business for Cloud has to actually gather usage and performance data from somewhere, and deploying agents into the cloud workloads makes total sense as the collection mechanism, same way a lot of monitoring tools work. If it did not use agents sitting inside the workloads, how else would it get that granular consumption data to feed into the costing engine? I also think B is correct because public cloud costing and consumption analysis is literally one of the main selling points they harp on in the study material. So I am going with B and C as my two, but C especially feels solid to me because the agent-based collection model is the whole reason the tool can report on actual resource usage rather than just estimates.

Nina, vRB4C pulls its consumption data agentlessly through vCenter APIs and the cloud provider billing APIs, not by deploying anything into the workloads themselves, so C is off the table. B stands and E is your second pick, not C.
