Dejan C.Apr 21, 2026The package installation workflow in SmartConsole is designed for gateways and cluster members, not for the management server itself. The Management Server gets its updates through a separate process, either via the Gaia Portal, CPUSE on the management box directly, or through a dedicated upgrade path, never through the SmartConsole package installation dialog that targets enforcement points. If you try to push a package install targeting the SMS from that workflow, the option simply is not available because the SMS is not an enforcement point in the policy installation sense. The correct answer is D. Packages via SmartConsole can target a single gateway (A), a full cluster with all members (B), or multiple gateways and clusters simultaneously (C), but the R81.20 Security Management Server itself is explicitly excluded from that mechanism.
