4The correct answers are A and B, DVMRP and PIM. Brocade FastIron supports both of those as multicast routing protocols, while MOSPF is not supported on FastIron platforms and MBGP is really a BGP extension for carrying multicast routing information rather than a standalone multicast routing protocol. Does anyone in the group want to add context on when you would choose DVMRP versus PIM in a FastIron environment?
A and B are correct, FastIron supports both DVMRP and PIM-SM/PIM-DM for multicast routing. MOSPF and MBGP are not multicast forwarding protocols in the FastIron feature set, MBGP is for carrying multicast reachability in inter-domain scenarios but FastIron does not run it as a standalone multicast routing protocol.
Does "supported" here mean layer 3 routing protocols only, or does IGMP snooping count too?
DVMRP and PIM are it; MOSPF tempts but Brocade never shipped it.
