3The correct answers are A, B, and D. lpq queries the print queue so you can see pending jobs and their status. lprm removes a job from the queue, which directly affects what your system will print. lpr submits a file to the printer, which is the most direct way to affect printing. Options C and E, lpstatus and lpio, are not standard LPD or CUPS utilities and do not appear in the Linux man pages or the LPI 102-350 objective documentation, so they are distractors.
Picked C and E first, but lpstatus and lpio are not real commands.
Honestly my first instinct was to mark C and E as valid because they sound like they fit the naming pattern, lpstatus sounds like something that would show you queue status and lpio sounds like it could handle input/output redirection for print jobs. What changed my mind was thinking back to the actual commands I used when we had a shared HP LaserJet on the floor and someone's 400-page PDF was stuck at the top of the queue. The real toolkit is lpq to view the queue, lpr to send a job, and lprm to yank a stuck job out, those are the three you actually reach for. lpstatus and lpio are not real commands, the exam is testing whether you know the actual CUPS/LPD toolset versus plausible-sounding fakes.
