Which property right allows a trustee of an object to modify, add, or delete a property value of the object?

Read only allows a trustee to retrieve and view a property's value - it grants no ability to alter that value in any way.

Write is the property right in eDirectory that allows a trustee to make any change to a property's values, including adding new values, altering existing values, and removing values. This right covers the full spectrum of property value manipulation and is required for tasks such as changing a user's telephone number or group membership list. It is broader than Add Self, which only permits self-referential changes.

Modify is an object right that controls renaming or moving objects in the tree and is not a property right related to editing values.

Delete is an object right for removing objects from the tree entirely - it is not a property right for clearing or removing individual property values.

Add Self is a more restricted property right that only lets a trustee add or remove its own name as a value, not modify arbitrary property values.

Inheritable is a right flag that determines whether a granted right flows down to sub-containers and objects, not a right that itself enables modification of property values.
