Coating Inspector Level 2

The failure analysis questions pushed me to think through root causes, not just memorize terms. That's the depth CIP2 actually requires.

Been a Level 1 for years, but CIP2's cathodic protection and concrete coating content was new ground. Practice sets here helped fill those gaps quickly.

Came in from structural steel, not coatings. The SSPC surface prep standards and blast profile questions here made sense of what felt like a wall of specs.

Tank lining inspection was where I kept dropping points in practice. The questions here don't let you slide by on vague answers - they go deep on procedural details. Passed my CIP2 on the first attempt and felt genuinely prepared.

I tried two other resources before NerdExam and this felt the most targeted to CIP2 specifically. The DFT measurement and holiday detection questions matched the technical depth I hit on the real exam. Took me two sittings but I passed.

Holiday testing finally clicked. Passed CIP2 first try.
