Dell Technologies Midrange Storage Solutions Design 2023

I studied for D-MSS-DS-23 as part of moving into a pre-sales role and was intimidated by the capacity planning and host connectivity sections. NerdExam's practice questions pushed me to actually understand why, not just memorize answers. Walked out feeling confident for the first time.

The scenario-based questions on storage tiering and performance design are where this cert gets tricky. Working through these practice sets before the exam made a real difference.

Some questions felt harder than what I saw on the actual exam, especially around replication design - but that over-preparation probably helped me pass.

PowerStore architecture finally made sense. Cleared it first try.

Coming from a networking background, the PowerStore deep-dives were new territory. These questions helped me find the gaps before the real test.

I was nervous about the data reduction and tiering design questions, but the practice sets here covered them well. Passed on my second attempt.
