I had hands-on lab experience but kept second-guessing myself on the legal admissibility and chain-of-custody framing EC-Council uses in 312-49. Working through practice questions helped me internalize how the exam thinks, not just what it covers. Cleared it on the second attempt and felt confident throughout.

Decent coverage of evidence acquisition, though I wanted more database forensics questions. Still gave me enough grounding to pass 312-49 and land my first forensics role.

Switching from law enforcement to digital forensics, the cloud and mobile investigation domains were a lot to absorb. The question variety helped me build a real mental model for 312-49.
